Snoop, why are you so tired?

I enjoy many kinds of music. My cd collection is quite extensive. It even includes several spoken word cds (Gregory Peck reading The Bible--it's a long one!). I listen to cds in my car, at home, and while I'm mall walking with Lorraine. One of my current favorites is Snoop Doggy Dogg. His rhymes are very creative, and his persona is at times silly and sensitive (see the video where he lives in the shoe and his devotion to L'il Bow Wow respectively). His rhythms get me past the Fanny Farmer in 6.9 seconds.

The restless artiste in question.
Nonetheless, I am concerned about Snoop's ability to maintain this creativity. In the videos I have seen while watching MTV with my grandbaby, I noticed that Snoop is not getting enough rest. A solid eight hours may not be possible for a rapping superstar. I understand there is a lifestyle to maintain, but Snoop's eyelids are hanging quite low. Can he even see? How does he see his music and the notes? I am worried.

Throughout music there have been many a restless artiste. For Pete's sake, one J.S. Bach had 14 children! Raising and fathering them must have taken a lot of time, yet he produced some fabulous hits, including the rollicking organ-rocker "Toccata and Fugue". He couldn't have done this without ample sleep in a comfy bed. Don't even get me started about the amazing Mendelssohn!

Everyone knows that a person needs good sleep to produce and nuture this world. Why, I get a solid 8.25 hours every night, after I've watched my taped TRL. I hope that Snoop finds some time for him to just lay back, without his mind on his money or his money on his mind, and catch some z's without the aid of gin or juice.

Cheryl Cabral has an extensive cd collection. Just ask her.
